This miniature plantation scared me in the begginning, i went from a large engraving of this plantation, to a tiny one....extremely tedious !   Re-drawn from a postcard by Robert Seago.

   I started with a board that i pre-stained in yellow, lightly sanded it after engraving and burning was completed, to give it a "weathered" look. The back has 2 coats of pecan stain and the whole piece is finished off with 2 coats of polyureathane....need i add high quaility, heavy duty ? hehehehe

   This piece is not for sale, it will be given to my Aunt Trudy this Christmas, but i will have another miniature posted to this website in the future.
